The Stickers are in print now, and we have a set of 9 special, 1st year only, red and black vinyl stickers that every con attendee will receive. Yep.

Wanna help make TheMoriartyScavenger Hunt an absolute blast?Wanna ham it up and receive Special Gifts* for sharing your talent as your favorite (or least favorite) character?WE NEED YOU!Specifically we need (in order of most desperately seeking to we can cover it with staff if we have to):
- DI Greg Lestrade (Will be doing a LOT of acting, so someone good on their toes a plus!)

Each character will have a clue leading the teams onward to gather the next clue, and will probably need to stand/sit/loiter(With permission!) for about an hour. We would ask you to try and have a bit of fun with it, and as a team you will all be in on the the people preceding and following you on the loop, feel free to ad-lib and have some fun with it!Think you’re up for it? Brilliant! These roles are first come, first served! So POST IN THE FORUM or shoot us an ASK to let us know who you wanna be!*Special Gifts to include:A ring bound set of the clues, ALL FOR YOU! Wait, you ask, what?Well, we are going to have some nifty clues for everyone to follow, and during the scavenger hunt you will hold a set of 8 copies, one per group.When all the groups have come and gone you get to head back, and at the close of the Con you and all your fellows that acted a part in the hunt will receive your applause and a copy of all the clues to each actor.You will also each get a special Charm and a button that is just for the Actors, as well as the button and goodies the detective team participants get. :-D

Since we are going to have so few entries this year, we’re going to make it SUPER simple to enter- Either just post that you’re entering In the Forum… OR Reblog this post with what you’ll be dressing as and either your name or lunch type for verification on the day of, and we’ll make you an entry number! That simple!
Entries count ends June 10th. (we extended it for all the procrastinators out there)
We’ll make 5 more than we receive reblogs/posts in the forum, so if you didn’t reblog or post, just get there early!

A quick reminder: ALL PROPS MUST BE INSPECTED BY STAFF. For the safety of all, we will be inspecting every prop before you can enter the theater with it, regardless of if you are entering the contest or not.

The San Francisco Bay Area Sherlockian Mini-Con Logo Contest! (Reblog Give Away at the bottom of this post!)
LOGO CONTEST:
We have a lovely chance for your art to be splashed across swag and posters all over the Bay!
The Bay Area Sherlockian Charity Convention needs a logo, and that is where YOU come in!
We are looking for anyone with an idea to create it- the more the merrier on entering this so anyone from anywhere can enter the logo design contest multiple times.
The prize for the winner will be the joy of seeing their image all over (And possibly get an extra Con Swag bag- even if they’re international!)- AND either a free ticket to the convention or a 30$ gift certificate to Red-bubble.
These Logos will be being used on the website as well as convention bags, posters, potentially even on shirts as well! As such, we have to have any logo in 2 sizes. One will need to be roughly 5 inches large for use in shirt designs and bag designs, and one small for use on the website.
The images, as such, have a maximum area of:
Small:
315 pixels wide by 180 pixels tall with 72 pixels per inch
Large:
1500 wide 860 tall with 300 pixels per inch
Each logo must be the pixel resolution stated, if not the dimensions.You must enter each logo entry with both sizes to be eligible.
You have from Feb 29th until the 18th of March 11:59 PM PST.
Winners will be announced Wednesday the 21st of March.
Judging will be conducted by the staff and we will be judging on BOTH sizes of all entries.
Please submit all entries HERE On Tumblr and/or HERE on the Forum

So I’m really excited about the BAY AREA SHERLOCK CON being put together by some lovely people on tumblr!!! And I would really love for it to be successful and I just wanted to help by spreading the word about it.
Even if you’re not in the Bay Area or something — there are contests on their forums and stuff! Logo and video editing! I know some of y’all are 10x better than I am with your programs, so why not sign up? Let’s bring the best of the best :D!!!
Also the song is a minute or so. And yeah, it says Sherlock Holmes throughout it. It was a bit of a doozy getting it hehehe. :3c
