Video Contest extended to May 17th 11:59pm PST(-8gmt), Voting to begin May 18th, one round, top ten to be determined via number of votes on the poll. Voting to close June 1st, 11:59pm PST.

In fact, we set up each of the art contests- (Logo, Poster contests, Video Contests) in such a way that anyone and everyone the world over can participate, and the convention attendees get the final vote for the placing order of the top 10, and reap the rewards of having an entire fandom strut it’s stuff.
The logo contest, for example, has either a free ticket OR a 30$ gift certificate with the website of the winner’s choosing. (if they don’t want redbubble!)
Who: Anyone in the area at the time of the event
When: Sunday, June 17th 9am-9pm
Where: Camera 3 Cinemas
Cost: $35 from February 10th through April 1st; $45 from April 2nd through June 1st

OPERATION: BAY AREA SHERLOCKIAN MEETUP 2012 IS GO!
OKAY. Camera 3, has offered an amazing deal on our 300+ seats total auditorium. (We will sell only 300, the remaining seats will be held for guests and staff and setup for events, etc).

The date of June 10th, we have the the largest of the three auditoriums all to ourselves. There is ample stage room for any potential Q&A sessions or events, and also plenty of room for tables to be set up around the sides for both displays, Raffle prizes, events and catering. We are all set with Blue Ray playing and 2 wireless and two wired microphones for anyone on stage to use.

Donation per ticket is 45$, Minimum sold to cover seating and catering, is 120 seats filled at 45$.
We can offer that if we sell 240 tickets, the donation for everyone drops to 35$.
OR
We can do a special badge for anyone that donates 50$ as a keepsake, and they get preferred seating, via first access to the theater, with the 35$ tickets coming in after. And this will be the two break points for donations.
We can always take larger donations, but the point of this event is to have fun. :D As such I want this to be as accessible as possible, so if you want to donate extra or have any ideas for fundraising to go along with this, please do let me know!
