If you live anywhere in the greater Bay Area (or even Tracy or Sacramento!) California and want to help spread the word, we really would appreciate you printing a few of these out to post in your local coffee shop, or any legal posting place.
We have a bit over a week left and well over 100 tickets left to sell.

SherlockAntheaMycroft(We can provide a wooden handle gentleman’s umbrella if needed!)John(If you are a size Large-2xl Women’s size top we can provide a Christmas Jumper ON LOAN.)- Raz (Or any I BELIEVE IN SHERLOCK/ Tagger type Homeless Network person, someone with a hoodie that says I Believe in Sherlock Holmes, etc, and is willing to loiter suspiciously whilst wearing it.)
Each character will have a clue leading the teams onward to gather the next clue, and will probably need to stand/sit/loiter(With permission!) for about an hour. We would ask you to try and have a bit of fun with it, and as a team you will all be in on the the people preceding and following you on the loop, feel free to ad-lib and have some fun with it!Think you’re up for it? Brilliant! These roles are first come, first served! So POST IN THE FORUM or shoot us an ASK to let us know who you wanna be!*Special Gifts to include:A ring bound set of the clues, ALL FOR YOU! Wait, you ask, what?Well, we are going to have some nifty clues for everyone to follow, and during the scavenger hunt you will hold a set of 8 copies, one per group.When all the groups have come and gone you get to head back, and at the close of the Con you and all your fellows that acted a part in the hunt will receive your applause and a copy of all the clues to each actor.You will also each get a special Charm and a button that is just for the Actors, as well as the button and goodies the detective team participants get. :-D

Since we are going to have so few entries this year, we’re going to make it SUPER simple to enter- Either just post that you’re entering In the Forum… OR Reblog this post with what you’ll be dressing as and either your name or lunch type for verification on the day of, and we’ll make you an entry number! That simple!
Entries count ends June 10th. (we extended it for all the procrastinators out there)
We’ll make 5 more than we receive reblogs/posts in the forum, so if you didn’t reblog or post, just get there early!

In fact, we set up each of the art contests- (Logo, Poster contests, Video Contests) in such a way that anyone and everyone the world over can participate, and the convention attendees get the final vote for the placing order of the top 10, and reap the rewards of having an entire fandom strut it’s stuff.
The logo contest, for example, has either a free ticket OR a 30$ gift certificate with the website of the winner’s choosing. (if they don’t want redbubble!)
Who: Anyone in the area at the time of the event
When: Sunday, June 17th 9am-9pm
Where: Camera 3 Cinemas
Cost: $35 from February 10th through April 1st; $45 from April 2nd through June 1st

OPERATION: BAY AREA SHERLOCKIAN MEETUP 2012 IS GO!
OKAY. Camera 3, has offered an amazing deal on our 300+ seats total auditorium. (We will sell only 300, the remaining seats will be held for guests and staff and setup for events, etc).
http://www.cameracinemas.com/camera3 We will get better pictures of the interior of our Theater in the next few weeks, but I toured it, and it is perfect for us!
The date of June 10th, we have the the largest of the three auditoriums all to ourselves. There is ample stage room for any potential Q&A sessions or events, and also plenty of room for tables to be set up around the sides for both displays, Raffle prizes, events and catering. We are all set with Blue Ray playing and 2 wireless and two wired microphones for anyone on stage to use.

Donation per ticket is 45$, Minimum sold to cover seating and catering, is 120 seats filled at 45$.
We can offer that if we sell 240 tickets, the donation for everyone drops to 35$.
OR
We can do a special badge for anyone that donates 50$ as a keepsake, and they get preferred seating, via first access to the theater, with the 35$ tickets coming in after. And this will be the two break points for donations.
We can always take larger donations, but the point of this event is to have fun. :D As such I want this to be as accessible as possible, so if you want to donate extra or have any ideas for fundraising to go along with this, please do let me know!
I am looking forward to seeing you all here and on the forums in the next few months, and really want your feedback, this is a meeting by and for San Francisco Bay Area Sherlockians. (And any Sherlockian from anywhere else that can make it!)
